Squad 1 is a 1992 International 4700 Heavy Rescue. Squad 1 is the first due on all commercial motor vehicle crashes, structural collapses, and severe technical rescues. Squad 1 also operates a cascade system for structure fire response, and assists any fire department that requests SCBA bottles to be refilled. Squad 1 is attached to the Hawkins County Special Operations Task Force.
