Fellow Residents of Monroe Township,
The Williamstown Fire Company has had the honor and distinction of proudly serving Monroe Township for well over 100 years. Relying on the goodwill and community spirit of our neighbors, the fire company has managed, with exceptional service, to protect the people, residences, and businesses of our community solely on a volunteer basis. Our members have sacrificed time with family, friends, and at work to ensure the safety of our township. They have done so based upon their dedication and commitment to providing the highest quality emergency services, allowing our residents to sleep soundly each night.
More importantly, our connection to the community is of utmost importance our members. We have shown our dedication and support through endeavors such as Santa Around Town, our annual Christmas Tree sale, our annual Open House during Fire Prevention Week, our visits to local schools, and our assistance with the annual 4th of July fireworks display, among others. Our members frequently attend birthday parties, business openings, or participate in parades. We represent our community within the township limits, but also on a broader scale. We seek to make our residents proud in any aspect possible.
Our fire company could not exist without the assistance of our community. Your respect, contributions, and love for us does not go unnoticed. We appreciate each and every person who continues to support our organization, whether it be through direct contributions or simply by throwing us a smile when you see our trucks headed down a street. We see you, we appreciate you, and we will continue to serve you with the highest amount of professionalism.
In closing, thank you all for your support. We could not be here without you. I have no doubt that we will continue to make you proud for another century. From the bottom of our hearts and with a tip of our helmets…we appreciate all you have done for us, as much as we know you appreciate the service we provide to you.
Sincerely,
Andrew Disque
