Fire Prevention Week

Our Annual Open House is scheduled for Tuesday October 11th 7PM at our Main Street Firehouse. Come on out!

This year Fire Prevention Week is October 9th-15th. The topic for the week is "Don't Wait, Check the Date" which drives home the importance of keeping your detectors in proper working order. This not only includes replacing batteries but replacing the whole detector every 10 years as they do have a shelf life. We are constantly shocked how many houses we go in that do not have PROVEN life saving measures as simple as working Smoke and CO Detectors. Tell your Children to be on the lookout for us as we will be visiting the area schools during the week to teach about fire prevention.

Mourning the Loss of a Brother

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brother Firefighter Richard Amandeo. RJ was a member of the Fire Company for 15 years where he had previously held the rank of lieutenant. He was also a past member of Clementon Fire. He will be missed.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Amandeo Children’s Fund

Remembering September 11th

On this 15th Anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks we must remember that we promised to never forget! Never forget where you were, how you felt and most importantly the 2,974 people that lost their lives that day, including 343 firemen and 71 law enforcement officers. Plus dont forget countless more that have died since that day due to complications from being at Ground Zero. Please take a second out of your busy day for those who gave all and some!
